Shooting sunset and sunrise may very well be the most rewarding type of landscape photography, but it is also the most challenging. You have to deal with extreme amounts of light contrast between the sky and ground. You also need to deal with editing for beautiful and accurate color. In this workshop we will discuss shooting and editing techniques for maximizing your sunrise and sunset photography. Then we will shoot sunset at Castlewood Canyon State Park together, putting what we learned into practice. This class is also a tiered ticket class, meaning that you can also add an individual editing consult where we will go through your images and edit them together in either Lightroom or Capture One (your choice.) I hope to see you there.

Outline

For the last ten years, my specialty has been in creating and guiding educational photographic workshops. The F Stops Here Hybrid Workshops continue that tradition. My new Sunset Photography workshop comes in either a two or a three part variety with a corresponding tiered ticket. Each ticket includes a two-hour presentation covering shooting and editing skills and a sunset shoot at Castlewood Canyon State Park. The three part ticket includes an individual, hour-long, Zoom meeting where we will edit your images together in either Lightroom or Capture One. We will schedule this consult individually.
